Choir in Every Care Home

The Sidney De Haan Research Centre has worked with Live Music Now on the Choir in Every Care Home Project, to promote the value of group singing in care settings across the UK.

A Choir in Every Care Home is an initiative launched in May 2015 involving 35 national organisations. The initiative is exploring how music and singing can feature regularly in the majority of UK care homes. The SDH Centre is one of the three major organsations leading the initiative together with Live Music Now, which centres a major part of its work on music in care settings, and Sound Sense, a professional association for community music.
