CCCU welcomed a new cohort of Dutch students for a residential week as part of the MSc in Policing, a collaborative programme with the Police Academy of the Netherlands. Students are police officers with varying degrees of experience and responsibility in the national police and regional forces. They were introduced to key aspects of policing that will enable them to engage with current challenges in policing in the Netherlands and internationally. Staff from the School of Law, Criminal Justice and Computing was delighted to host a series of lectures that showcased their expertise and allowed them to engage in meaningful cultural debates with the students. The programme directors, Dr Sofia Graca and Dr Maike Gieling, look forward to continue working with students and staff from both institutions in developing this well-established, international and successful programme, now over 10 year in existence.
