I had a great conversation with Dr. David Kennedy at Dublin City University about Science, Religion, and Education’. Curriculum Development and Integration. In it we range quite broadly, touching on ideas like the unity of knowledge, the idea of taking an integrative approach to sense making, a little bit about hermeneutics. Click the link to listen:

It was a great conversation and I am still thinking about the extent to which our choices about how we use the tools that different disciplines offer, reflect underlying value commitments. How we see the world might not be a result of the meaning that arises from those disciplines, but is in part the product of the decisions we make about what matters in what we perceive.
