Micro project resource for Cultivating Deeper Interdisciplinary Dialogue

Dr Mary Woolley writes: In late June 2025 we had the pleasure of visiting a school in south Wales and launching our micro-project for Cultivating Deeper Interdisciplinary Dialogue. This consisted of recording a variety of dialogues between teachers, some in the same subject pairings and some between teachers of different subjects.

Our aim was to see if and how dialogue changed after a period of professional learning. Our theme for the day was sustainability and climate change education, chosen for it’s cross-cutting nature and the importance and sensitivity of the debates.

In a final session with the teachers we shared this resource, with various further readings and resources on Sustainability and Climate Change education, both in Wales and beyond. Particular thanks to our Cardiff Met colleague Rhian Crooks-Williams for helping us put together this resource.
