This unique feature provided the event organiser and host the information required to target future marketing and service planning &#8211; and evaluate the effectiveness of their current activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Findings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The total net economic flow into Portsmouth and Southsea as a result of hosting the Bupa Great South Run was \u00a3678, 675<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There were numerous reasons given for participating in the event but the two most important include personal achievement (91%) and health and fitness (85%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Runners travelled from a wide catchment area especially those served by good motorway connections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
