The evaluation will involve a range of innovative qualitative and quantitative methodologies to explore participants\u2019 preferences, attitudes, motivations and barriers towards sport and physical activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Findings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Across 2018\/19 Healthy Active Lifestyle Champions involved 48 schools and trained 128 practitioners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial\">Student Survey data suggest Healthy Active lifestyle Champions impacts positively on leadership opportunities for young people<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial\">The percentage of Champions reporting to lead or help with activities \u2018a lot\u2019 has risen from 43% to 67% across the programme.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial\">Over three-quarters of Champions say participation in Healthy Active Lifestyle Champions has increased their resilience (78%), communication (80%), empathy (82%), and teamwork (86%)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The percentage of Activity Participants reporting to have the chance to try new activites \u2018a lot\u2019 has increased significantly from 35% to 51% between the first and eighth week of engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">\u201c<em>Healthy Active Lifestyle Champions gave students ownership and brought physical activity to the forefront of some students&#8217;
