This project aims to engage young people from deprived backgrounds in community sport sessions within Kent.
The programme provides opportunities for young people to become aware of their sporting potential through engagement in informal, accessible community sporting activities. The programme aims to promote community connectedness and social trust through community activities and to enhance individual social development and wellbeing. The evaluation draws upon quantitative sources to explore these aims and to further inform future programme developments.
